The Visual Computing Group, headed by Timo Ropinski, is part of the institute for media informatics at the University of Ulm. The focus of the group is on interactive visualization and visual analytics, which have the goal of deriving new knowledge from existing data. One of the thematic focal points is the visualization and analysis of medical data. We can bring these experiences into the Transnav project using the Inviwo visualization framework, which is developed in Ulm and various locations in Europe.
